We're a community of believers who acknowledge Jesus as the head of the church. Our primary aspiration is to deepen our relationship with Christ through the word and to be transformed into His likeness through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:42
We believe the scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the infallible Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith, practice, and doctrine.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
We believe in the one true God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three persons are co-equal and co-eternal, and together they make up the one Godhead.
Matthew 28:19-20
We believe that the Holy Spirit continually empowers and sanctifies believers, allowing us to live a life that is pleasing to God. The Holy Spirit provides guidance, comfort, and spiritual gifts for the edification of the church.
John 14:16-17
We affirm salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Salvation is a free gift from God, not achieved by works, but received by faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
Romans 10:9, Romans 6:23
We place an emphasis on the expositional, or verse-by-verse, teaching of God’s Word. That with reliance on the Holy Spirit we strive to equip the saints for the ministry that the Lord has for them.
Ephesians 4:11-12
We emphasize the importance of meeting as a community of believers who gather to worship, learn, and grow together. Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord has a place in the body of Christ and a part to play in the kingdom of God. We observe the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper as symbols of our faith and commitment.
1 Corinthians 12:12-13
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus of Nazareth, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. We believe in His sinless life, miracles, atoning death on the cross, bodily resurrection, ascension to heaven, intercession for believers, and His future return in power and glory.
1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Hebrews 7:25-27
We know that all people are born with a sinful nature that separates us from God. We can only be saved by a personal faith in what Jesus has done on the cross. This involves turning away from sinful behaviours and turning towards God, being continuously filled with and reliant upon the Holy Spirit.
John 3:18-19; Romans 3:23-24
